On behalf of Girard College’s Family Resource Fair Committee 2008-2009, we welcome you to our first ever Fair---Friday, February 6, 2009! We are excited about the opportunity to get to know you and to introduce you to our community-partners. Best of all, our fair coincides with the next scheduled report card conferences you already plan to attend.
Girard’s Family Resource Fair focuses on promoting parent/school engagement, child/family wellness and overall school success. So, come join us from 10AM to 2PM, on campus (Old Library Building). |

The mission of the Counseling Department is to consolidate and strengthen the counseling and support resources available to Girard College students and their families. Some of the services available through the Department of Counseling and Family Services include:
* Individual and group counseling
* Classroom guidance lessons
* Referral assistance for community-based counseling and case management for students, parents, and other family members
* Assistance in applying for health insurance
* Benefit Bank
* Parenting Education and Support (for all caregivers)
We work closely with Residential and Academic faculty to make sure all students’ needs are met with appropriate support in a timely manner.
