They are Tiffany B., Tahji E., Stanton H., Zimira J. and Reggie M. Remiah H., inducted last year, welcomed the new members into the NHS in a ceremony held in the Chapel. Dr. Loretta Sweet Jemmot, Vice President for Health and Health Equity at Drexel University, served as the speaker, encouraging the students to practice the five P's: passion, perseverance, partner, power and prayer.
The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921.
