Weekend Family Activities

Description: NACAC's National College Fairs allow students to interact with admission representatives from a wide range of colleges and universities.

Description: Youth Career Day for students grades 9th-12th interested in careers in technology, entrepreneurship, linemen, engineering and mechanics.

Description: The story of a young African-American Philadelphia freedom fighter by the name of Kenneth Smith.

Although most Girard parents are not visitors, this site is a treasure trove of possibilities. Their event calendar lists what's new as well as the favorites. Philadelphia is packed with activities, museums, historic sites, parks and numerous other educational and entertainment options.
