Requests for Transcripts or Other Records

TRANSCRIPT DEFINITION: the official school record of a student’s courses
and grades, used by recent graduates to provide schools and/or employers
of proof of graduation from Girard College. These records (at Girard College)
begin with graduates of 1923.

Current Students

To request copies of your official transcript to be sent to post-secondary institutions, you must contact the Guidance Office at 215-787-4439.

To request copies of your transcript to be sent to other high schools, you must contact the Admissions Office (215-787-2621).

All other records may be obtained through the Admissions Office (215-787-2621).

Graduates of the Class Years 2000 - 2014

To request copies of your student records and/or official transcript, you must E-MAIL or MAIL a written request for your records to Ms. Melinda Garcia. If you have questions or would like to make an appointment to pick them up, please call her at 215-787-2621. If you are requesting your records to be mailed or faxed to another school, please include that information in your written request.

Alumni and Former Students who Graduated Prior to 2000

Admission staff will provide a copy of a former student's transcript one time free of charge. Additional copies or multiple requests will incur a $5.00 charge, payable by check or money order only, made payable to "Girard College." Former students must send a written request for their transcript to:

Descendants of Former Girard College Students  

You may obtain your ancestor's transcript by e-mailing Melinda Garcia. You will incur a $5.00 charge if you only want the transcript. 
However, in the likely event that you are actually interested in an "archives search" wherein you would obtain as much information as we have on your ancestor, please read the next paragraph for instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: Girard transcripts do not exist prior to 1923.
